1. Who We Are

AsyncSig is an investor-facing early-stage startup screening service operated by Individual Entrepreneur Arman Kassym, operating under the business name "Edumart", established in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at: hello@asyncsig.com

AsyncSig helps investors review early-stage startup materials before deeper diligence. Its core output is a private AsyncSig Investor Screening Memo delivered to the relevant investor.

AsyncSig provides decision support. It does not make automated investment decisions, provide a public startup score, or replace an investor's own judgment or due-diligence process.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AsyncSig collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you:

  • visit AsyncSig.com;
  • request a Free Test;
  • request Memo Pack 5;
  • submit startup materials as an investor;
  • submit startup materials as a founder or startup representative through an investor link;
  • communicate with us about a submission, Screening Memo, payment, or support request.

This Policy applies to website visitors, investors, founders, startup representatives, and other individuals whose personal data may appear in submitted startup materials.

AsyncSig is intended for professional and business-related use. Open public founder submissions are not part of the current service. A founder may submit startup materials only through an investor link shared by an investor.

AsyncSig does not create user accounts, investor profiles, or login credentials in the current MVP.

A payment provider may collect additional payment information under its own privacy policy. AsyncSig does not require a direct website checkout in the current MVP.

3.6. Website analytics and technical information

We may use a limited web analytics service and UTM tracking to understand basic website traffic and conversion.

Depending on the selected service provider and configuration, limited technical information may include:

  • landing-page views;
  • clicks on the Free Test CTA;
  • clicks on the Memo Pack 5 CTA;
  • submitted request forms;
  • UTM source, medium, and campaign;
  • IP address;
  • browser or device information;
  • timestamps;
  • security or anti-spam logs.

We do not intentionally send confidential startup materials, Screening Memo content, names, email addresses, startup names, organization names, deck links, filenames, payment details, or investor-reference values to external analytics services.

On the Startup Submission page, the investor-reference value in the URL must not be stored by the analytics service.

4. Startup Materials and Third-Party Personal Data

Startup materials may include personal data relating to founders, employees, advisers, investors, customers, partners, or other individuals.

Before submitting materials, you must confirm that you are authorized to share them for investor screening.

Please do not upload:

  • personal data that is unrelated to the screening purpose;
  • identification documents;
  • financial-account credentials;
  • passwords;
  • medical information;
  • sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the review;
  • confidential third-party information that you are not authorized to share.

You may redact names, contact details, customer names, investor names, contract details, or proprietary information where appropriate, provided that the remaining materials are sufficient for a meaningful first-look review.

Submitting startup materials does not guarantee founder feedback, a meeting, an investment decision, or further communication from an investor.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal data and startup materials to:

  • respond to Free Test and Memo Pack 5 requests;
  • qualify and activate investor access;
  • create and administer investor links;
  • receive and organize startup submissions;
  • verify that submissions are associated with an investor link;
  • review startup materials;
  • request limited clarification where needed;
  • prepare and deliver a private Screening Memo to the relevant investor;
  • manage credits and payment records;
  • communicate with investors and submitters about the service;
  • maintain basic operational records;
  • protect the service from spam, misuse, and unauthorized access;
  • understand basic website traffic and conversion;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

Founder contact information is used for submission-related purposes. Founder submissions are not treated as an open public application to AsyncSig.

6. AI-Assisted Processing and Human Review

AsyncSig may use AI-assisted tools as part of its internal workflow to help organize, review, or draft portions of a Screening Memo.

AI-assisted processing does not replace human review.

Each Screening Memo is reviewed by a person before it is delivered to an investor. AsyncSig does not use solely automated processing to make an investment decision, issue a public startup score, or determine whether an investment should be made.

If an external AI service provider processes submitted information, we limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the screening workflow and review the applicable provider terms and configuration for the intended use.

Retention, storage, and model-improvement practices may vary depending on the AI provider and configuration in use. You may contact us for current information about external AI providers used in the workflow.

Do not upload unnecessary sensitive personal data.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data-protection law requires us to identify a legal basis, we process personal data on one or more of the following grounds:

  • your request or an agreement with you, including steps needed to provide the Free Test, accept a submission, deliver a Screening Memo, or process Memo Pack 5;
  • consent, where consent is required, including form acknowledgements and non-essential cookies where applicable;
  • legitimate interests, such as operating the service, protecting confidential materials, responding to requests, maintaining operational records, preventing abuse, and improving the screening workflow;
  • legal obligations, including accounting, tax, regulatory, or lawful disclosure requirements;
  • establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, where necessary.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether the processing is reasonably necessary and proportionate and whether it could materially affect an individual's rights.

8. How We Share Information

We share personal data only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

8.1. Relevant investor

A private Screening Memo is delivered to the investor associated with the investor link or submission workflow.

A founder does not automatically receive the Screening Memo.

8.2. Service providers

We may use service providers for:

  • website hosting or site building;
  • form processing;
  • restricted file storage;
  • spreadsheet administration;
  • email delivery;
  • basic analytics;
  • payment processing;
  • anti-spam protection;
  • technical support.

These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms, depending on the service.

8.3. Legal and protective disclosures

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or a lawful request;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of AsyncSig, users, investors, founders, or others;
  • investigate misuse, fraud, or security incidents;
  • enforce our Terms;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8.4. No sale of personal data

AsyncSig does not sell personal data.

AsyncSig does not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not use confidential startup materials as an advertising dataset.

9. Data Storage, Access, and International Processing

Startup pitch decks are stored in restricted-access storage. Public links using an "anyone with the link" setting are not used for startup decks.

Form responses, spreadsheets, and connected storage are restricted to the operator and explicitly authorized users.

Screening Memos are delivered as email attachments or through access-controlled private links intended for the relevant investor. Public "anyone with the link" access is not used by default.

Depending on the service providers selected for launch, personal data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires a specific data location, localization measure, contractual safeguard, or other transfer mechanism, we take steps to configure the service accordingly.

You may contact us for current information about the categories of service providers and countries involved in processing.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

The retention period may depend on:

  • whether a Free Test or Memo Pack remains active;
  • whether a submission is under review;
  • whether a Screening Memo has been delivered;
  • whether clarification, payment, refund, or support issues remain open;
  • whether operational records are needed to manage credits or avoid duplicate Free Test activations;
  • whether accounting, legal, security, or dispute-resolution requirements apply.

AsyncSig generally aims to retain startup submissions and Screening Memos for no longer than 24 months unless a longer retention period is required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Where service providers maintain backups, residual copies may remain for a limited period until backup cycles are completed.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of information.

These measures include, where applicable:

  • restricted-access file storage;
  • restricted spreadsheet and form-response access;
  • private or access-controlled links;
  • random investor-reference values that do not reveal the investor's name, email address, or organization;
  • limited access for authorized users;
  • anti-spam protection;
  • human review before Screening Memo delivery;
  • avoidance of public deck links;
  • avoidance of confidential-data transmission to analytics services.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please submit only the information reasonably necessary for investor screening.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • request a copy of certain personal data in a portable format;
  • lodge a complaint with a relevant data-protection authority.

To make a request, contact: hello@asyncsig.com

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, needed for security, or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

13. Cookies and Analytics

AsyncSig may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed to operate and protect the website.

AsyncSig may also use a limited analytics service to measure landing-page traffic, CTA clicks, request-form submissions, and UTM attribution.

If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, we will provide information about them and request consent where required by applicable law.

Analytics must not intentionally receive:

  • investor-reference values;
  • names;
  • email addresses;
  • organization names;
  • startup names;
  • filenames;
  • pitch decks;
  • deck links;
  • Screening Memo content;
  • payment details.

On the Startup Submission page, analytics must not store the URL query string containing the investor-reference value.

14. Children's Privacy

AsyncSig is intended for professional and business-related use. It is not directed to individuals under 18.

If you believe that a person under 18 has submitted personal data to AsyncSig, contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, infrastructure, or legal requirements change.

The updated version will be posted on AsyncSig.com with a revised "Last updated" date.

If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
